About:

Dr Brown was graduated at the University of Western Australia for his Bachelor in Science (2003) and his PhD (2007). He continues his Post doctoral research at The University of Sydney and he is currently Prinicpal Research Fellow of a Garnett Passe & Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation Grant about Using 3D Fluorescence Imaging to Investigate Animal Models of Meniere’s Disease.

He’s research involves determining the cause of Ménière’s disease and the development of a cure. He has developed the first laboratory fully devoted to research into Ménière’s disease with funds raised by Ménière’s Research Fund Incorporated and located in the Brain and Mind Centre. Dr Brown has a broader interest in sensory electrophysiology, neuroscience and homeostasis, and the development of tools for clinical and experimental diagnosis.
